{"id":2979,"date":"2019-09-04T12:24:33","date_gmt":"2019-09-04T16:24:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mindleaps.org\/?p=2979"},"modified":"2019-09-04T12:25:32","modified_gmt":"2019-09-04T16:25:32","slug":"mindleaps-expands-in-rwanda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mindleaps.org\/en\/2019\/09\/04\/mindleaps-expands-in-rwanda\/","title":{"rendered":"MindLeaps Expands in Rwanda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the support of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.katespade.com\/collections\/on-purpose\/learn-more\/\">Kate Spade New York\u2019s <em>on purpose<\/em> Fund<\/a>, MindLeaps was able to launch a pilot program in Masoro, in the Rulindo District of the Northern Province.<\/p>\n<p>30 youth from the Masoro community participated in an intensive Train the Trainer program to learn MindLeaps\u2019 methodology, equipping them to co-build and sustain the MindLeaps program to promote the well-being of young people in Masoro. The 8 new trainers have already started working with the children, and MindLeaps is eagerly looking ahead to seeing mental health and academic improvement for these 100 children.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>on purpose<\/em> Fund investment has provided an invaluable opportunity.
